Getting a document signed on SequrSign takes four steps, and the people you send it to don't need an account.
1. Upload your document
SequrSign accepts PDF, Word (DOC/DOCX), PowerPoint (PPT/PPTX), Excel (XLS/XLSX), and image files (PNG/JPG/JPEG) — everything is converted to PDF for signing.
Converting to PDF up front is what stops a document changing shape between you and the signer. A Word file renders differently depending on which fonts the reader has installed and which version of Word they opened it in. Once it is a PDF, what you approved is what they see.
2. Add your signers
You can send a single document to multiple recipients — everyone who needs to sign gets added to the same request.
Two orderings are available. In parallel, everyone gets their link at the same time and can sign whenever they get to it. In serial, each signer only receives their link once the person before them has finished, which is what you want for anything that has to be countersigned in sequence.
You can also require identity verification per signer. Where a link alone is not enough assurance, a signer can be asked to scan a government ID before the document will accept their signature.
3. We email each signer a secure link
No login, no app download, no account creation on their end. Each signer gets their own link tied to that document.
This is the step most signing tools get wrong. Asking a client or a candidate to register an account before they can read a one-page agreement adds friction at the exact moment you want none, and it is the most common reason a signature request stalls.
4. Signers review and sign
They open the link, read the document, and apply their signature directly in the browser.
The moment the last signature lands, the completed document is fingerprinted with SHA-256 and that fingerprint is stored. Any later change to the file will not match it, which is what makes the result tamper-evident rather than merely stored. What it costs
A signature request uses 5 credit points and an identity verification uses 1. Credits come in packs starting at $1, and new accounts start with 15 free credits, so a first document costs nothing to send. There is no subscription. See pricing for the packs and how long each one stays valid.
After everyone has signed
Once everyone has signed, you can go back to your dashboard to check status or download the completed document. If you ever need a document or account removed, contact usand we'll take care of it.
